  • Acted for Semiconductor Energy Laboratory in reaching settlements in multiple patent infringement cases against a world-leading semiconductor manufacturer
  • Acting for a leading global petrochemical company against its former collaborator and other infringement companies in China for trade secret misappropriation
  • Acted for Pfizer in a software infringement case before the Supreme Court and the Beijing IP Court
  • Represented Kennametal, Sandvik, Ralph Lauren, Dealer Tire, VMware, Crane, Haitian, Ruby, and other well-known US, European and Chinese companies in complex matters involving unfair-competition, trademark infringement, copyright infringement and trademark administration, variously subject to procuratorial supervision, court litigation, and CNIPA proceedings in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong and Zhejiang
  • Acting for several world-leading companies in multiple patent infringement and patent invalidation cases against their competitors, including companies specialized in display panel, refrigeration components, single-cell sequencing, and ophthalmic medical equipment and instruments
  • Advising a smart phone company in negotiation with patentees for licensing telecommunications and audio & video coding standards
  • Represented a Swiss company in an investigation by the State General Administration of Sports into potential safety issues in certain sport air guns
  • Advised Starbucks, Philips, TSMC, Takeda, Maersk, Japan Tobacco, VMware, Metso, Biogen, Honeywell, Shein, CICC, WuXi AppTec, Xtalpi, NIO, Xpeedic, Yangtze Memory, HTA, Edigene, CVTE, DRA, CDH Investments, and multiple foreign and domestic companies in the drug, petrochemical, semiconductor, manufacturing and consumer products industries on intellectual property-related matters
  • Advised L Catterton on its equity investment in Lotus and provided intellectual property due diligence report
  • Advised various investors and companies including CITIC Capital, Ant Group, China Mobile, CSRF, Sanofi, AstraZeneca on potential transactions in the healthcare, biotechnology, electronics and manufacturing industries and provided IP due diligence report on target companies
