Ms. Qian Li joined Fangda Partners in 2023. Prior to this, she practiced at Beijing Tiantong Law Firm from 2018 to 2023 as an Associate and Senior Associate.
PROFILE
Attorney Li Qian has led or participated in the representation of numerous complex cases involving first instance, second instance, and retrial proceedings before the Supreme People's Court, as well as various High People's Courts and Intermediate People's Courts. She has also handled commercial arbitration cases before institutions such as CIETAC, BIAC, and SHAC. Furthermore, she participated in and completed a research project for the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) titled "Risk Prevention and Control Regarding the Piercing of the Corporate Veil in the Governance of State-Owned Enterprises," and has delivered specialized presentations to various local SASAC branches.

- Obtained for a group company a CNY 180million judgment from the Supreme People’s Court in a lawsuit involving anequity transfer contract dispute with a coal chemical company
- Represented an energy company in winning alawsuit in the Supreme People’s Court involving opposition to execution with anew energy company
- Represented a shareholder in winning alawsuit in the Supreme People’s Court in a dispute with a development companyover liability for damages to the company's interests
- Obtained for a real estate company a CNY250 million judgment from the Hunan High Court in a contract dispute with adevelopment company
- Represented a real estate company inwinning a lawsuit in the Nanjing Intermediate People's Court disputing a landgroup company guarantee contract
- Obtained for a group company a CNY 1.5billion judgment from the Jiangsu High Court in a lawsuit involving threeequity transfer contract disputes with shareholders
- Obtained for a partnership enterprise a CNY150 million judgment from the Jiangsu High Court in a contract dispute with aninvestment company
- Represented a bank and secured a favorable judgment in a contract dispute against a construction group before the Supreme People's Court, involving a disputed amount of RMB 120 million
- Represented a bank and secured a favorable judgment in a certificate of deposit pledge contract dispute against a guarantee company before the Supreme People's Court, involving a disputed amount of RMB 140 million
- Represented a textile company and secured a favorable judgment in an insurance contract dispute against an insurance company before the Supreme People's Court
- Represented a credit insurance company and secured a favorable judgment in an insurance contract dispute against an international technology company before the Fujian High People's Court
- Represented a group company and secured favorable judgments in three independent guarantee disputes against the Shanghai branch of an Italian bank before the Shanghai Financial Court, involving a total disputed amount of RMB 530 million
- Represented a listed company and secured a complete victory in the first instance in a securities misrepresentation liability dispute brought by investors
- Represented multiple real estate companies and prevailed in several disputes concerning contracts for the pre-sale of commodity housing adjudicated by the Jiangsu Provincial High People's Court. Prior to the litigation of this series of cases, a nationwide wave of mass litigation had been initiated by homebuyers against developers seeking refunds for renovation price differences. The successful outcome of these cases has had a significant social impact and provides a positive exemplary effect
