- Advising Generali Group on the acquisition of the remaining 51% equity interest in its P&C insurance joint venture with CNPC Capital in China
- Advising CICC on its investment in and establishment of National Pension Insurance Company Ltd., which is the largest pension insurer in China in terms of capital
- Advising Ping An Life Insurance on its acquisition of the majority stakes in six Raffles City real estate projects developed by CapitaLand in China, with a total investment of RMB33 billion
- Advising a consortium on its proposed strategic investment in Dajia Insurance Group (previously known as Anbang Insurance), which involved investments in multiple licensed institutions including life insurer, P&C insurer, pension insurer, insurance asset manager and intermediaries
- Advising BlackRock on its establishment of BlackRock CCB Wealth Management Co., Ltd. with CCB Wealth Management Co., Ltd. and an affiliate of Temasek – the joint venture became the first Sino-US wealth management company in China
- Advising BlackRock on its establishment of a mutual fund manager in China – the new company became the first wholly foreign-owned mutual fund manager in China
- Advising Morgan Stanley on the capital increase in its Sino-foreign securities joint-venture in China
